Looks like you guys had a lot of fun with the whole sand castle thing. I remember every time I tried to make a sandcastle it would get destroyed by the water shortly after from the tide. :(
The best time to start is right after high tide, you can tell where it is safe to build, and you have easy access to the best sand to use, .... not to wet or to dry.
